PMM Group, the specialist real estate asset manager, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Rothery and Ben Stirling to lead the development of its affordable housing investment strategies.

Andy and Ben bring over 55 years of real estate experience to the Group.  Andy was a corporate finance partner and real estate industry leader at Deloitte, where he spearheaded the launch of Deloitte Real Estate to accelerate the growth of its real estate advisory business. Ben Stirling was most recently at Aviva Investors, where he led the UK Direct Real Estate business, with over £15 billion of assets under management.

With their extensive knowledge of the industry and established networks, Andy and Ben will jointly lead the creation of investment strategies in UK affordable housing, working with local authorities to provide sustainable solutions to the temporary accommodation crisis while seeking to deliver long term, low risk, inflation linked returns which are attractive to institutional capital.

Their appointments mark PMM Group’s continued growth as it seeks to provide investors with secure and socially responsible investments with inflation-linked cashflows, underpinned by solid supply and demand fundamentals.

Matthew Northover, Founding Partner, PMM Group, commented:

“I am delighted to welcome both Andy and Ben to PMM. They bring a wealth of relevant industry experience and a track record of leading complex real estate businesses. Their diverse experience further strengthens our existing expertise as we look to expand into the UK affordable housing sector.”

Andy Rothery and Ben Stirling, Co-Heads of Affordable Housing, PMM Group, commented:
