Our leadership team has over 120 years of combined experience in real estate, investment banking, finance and debt servicing. They invest in PMM’s funds, ensuring their interests are aligned with those of our investors. The partners of PMM comprise of:

Paul Ruddle

Paul graduated from York University with a degree in electronic engineering. Prior to founding PMM in 2006, he worked in industry before a career spanning 19 years in investment banking, where he laterally held the position of Managing Director within the equities division of UBS Investment Bank. During that time, he worked and advised on investments across a wide variety of industries, consistently ranking as one of the leading analysts in his field.

Matthew Northover

Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young, he worked within AstraZeneca’s strategy department. He then spent 10 years in investment banking, with ABN, JP Morgan Chase and UBS. Prior to founding PMM, he led the corporate consultancy team at Hargreaves Lansdown, one of the leading financial services providers in the UK.

Mike Weston

Mike graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce. He spent 21 years at Morgan Stanley, where he held various positions, including Head of European Debt Capital Markets and Global Head of Debt Syndicate. Prior to Joining PMM in 2013, Mike worked at Citi Capital Advisors, a $16 billion Alternatives Asset Management group where he held the position of Global Head of Product Management.

Michael Hilton

Michael holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University. Prior to founding PMM in 2006, he worked as a management consultant for LEK Partners before a 12 year career within investment banking, the latter part of which he spent at UBS where he held the position of Managing Director within its equities division. During this period Mike was consistently voted in all external investor surveys as one of the leading financial analysts in Europe.

Giles Avery

Giles qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant after graduating with a degree in Accounting and Business Economics from Southampton University. After working as an analyst at AstraZeneca, Giles moved to the City where, he held senior finance positions within the fixed income divisions of UBS and Nomura. Prior to joining PMM in 2007, Giles was General Manager for an AIM listed IT services company which was subsequently acquired by Capita.

Stuart Young

Stuart started his career at Ernst & Young after graduating with a degree in accountancy from the University of Glasgow. Prior to joining PMM in 2014, he spent 20 years in investment banking within the equities divisions of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Citigroup and Barclays. Throughout this period, Stuart’s sector of specialisation was European Banks, and he was consistently voted in all external investor surveys as one of the most highly ranked in his field.
